A deficiency of Vitamin D, synthesised during sun exposure, can interfere with an appitite supressing hormone. A recent study indicates that more than half the UK population is deficient in Vitamin D.

Rainy England isn’t always the best place to top up your Vitamin D levels. And when in the sun it is important that you maintain safe and intelligent UV exposure.

Therefore, we recommend that our patients top up their Vitamin D levels through their diets.
